Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy describes how BETUL SADAY COUTURE FZ-LLC ("Betül Saday", "we", "us", "our") processes, ships, and delivers orders placed through en.betulsaday.com.

By placing an order, you accept this Shipping Policy together with our Return and Refund Policy, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.


1. Where We Ship

We ship worldwide from our atelier. International orders are fulfilled by DHL Express with end-to-end tracking.

Certain destinations may be restricted due to local import regulations or carrier limitations. If we are unable to deliver to your country, we will notify you and refund your payment in full within 14 days.


2. Production Time

All garments sold through the Site are made-to-order. Production typically takes 4 to 8 weeks from the date of order confirmation, depending on fabric availability and design complexity. Your estimated production timeline is communicated in your order confirmation email.

If you require delivery by a specific date, please notify us before placing your order and obtain written confirmation that the date is feasible. Verbal or social media assurances do not constitute a binding delivery commitment.


3. Shipping Time

After production is complete, dispatch and delivery via DHL Express typically takes:

  • Gulf Region (UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman): 2 to 4 business days
  • Europe and United Kingdom: 3 to 5 business days
  • United States and Canada: 4 to 7 business days
  • Asia Pacific, Africa, and Latin America: 5 to 10 business days

Delivery times exclude weekends, public holidays, and customs clearance time, which may add 1 to 3 business days depending on the destination.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by carrier, customs, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control are not our responsibility.


4. Shipping Costs

A flat shipping fee of AED 70.00 applies to all international orders, regardless of destination or order value, unless otherwise specified at checkout.

The exact shipping fee for your order is displayed at checkout before payment.


5. Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and VAT

For most international destinations, customs duties, import taxes, and VAT are calculated and collected at checkout, in line with the Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) model. This means:

  • The total amount you pay at checkout includes the product price, shipping, applicable duties, and taxes
  • Your parcel will be cleared through customs by DHL Express on your behalf, using the prepaid duty and tax amount
  • You should not be asked to pay additional duties or taxes upon delivery

Exceptions: For a limited number of destinations not yet supported by our prepaid duty system, duties and taxes may be charged separately by the local customs authority upon delivery. If this applies to your destination, the checkout will indicate that the order is shipped on a Delivered At Place (DAP) basis, and you will be responsible for any duties or taxes charged at the destination.

We are not responsible for refunding duties or taxes that have been correctly assessed by the destination customs authority.


6. Order Confirmation and Tracking

After placing your order, you will receive:

  • An order confirmation email with your order number and details
  • A shipping confirmation email with your DHL tracking number when your order leaves our atelier

You can track your shipment in real time via the DHL website using the tracking number provided.

If you have not received your order confirmation within 24 hours of payment, please check your spam folder or contact us at saday.betul@hotmail.com.


7. Risk of Loss

Title and risk of loss for all items pass to you upon delivery to the courier. Once the carrier has scanned the parcel as "delivered" to your address, our responsibility for the parcel ends.


8. Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your parcel is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us at saday.betul@hotmail.com within 7 calendar days of the expected or actual delivery date with:

  • Your order number
  • DHL tracking number
  • Photographs of the damaged packaging and contents (for damage claims)
  • A clear description of the issue

We will work with DHL to investigate and, where the claim is confirmed, arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy, Section 3.

Claims submitted after the 7-day window may be rejected.


9. Incorrect Address

It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at the time of order. We are not responsible for parcels delivered to incorrect addresses provided by you.

If your parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping. If you choose not to re-ship, refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

If you notice an error in your shipping address after placing the order, please contact us immediately at saday.betul@hotmail.com. We will attempt to correct the address, but we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible once the order has been dispatched.


10. Failed Delivery and Unclaimed Parcels

If you are not available to receive the parcel, DHL will leave a notice and attempt redelivery according to its standard procedure. If the parcel remains unclaimed after the carrier's holding period and is returned to us:

  • For defective or our error: we will arrange re-shipping at no additional cost
  • In all other cases: outbound shipping costs, return-to-sender shipping costs, and any storage or destruction fees incurred will be deducted from any refund, in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy, Section 7

11. Refusal of Delivery

If you refuse to accept delivery of an order, no refund will be issued for the product (as the garment is made-to-order specifically for you), but you remain responsible for all shipping and return costs incurred.
